Acceptance of terms
By using FixACharge, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
What FixACharge is
FixACharge is a self-help document-preparation tool. We use AI to help you organize your situation into a dispute letter, email, evidence checklist, and related messages, based only on the information and documents you provide.
What FixACharge is not
FixACharge is not a law firm, does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any company, bank, or organization you are disputing a charge with.
No guaranteed outcome
We do not and cannot guarantee that you will receive a refund, a response, or any particular outcome. Whether a dispute succeeds is entirely up to the company you contact, your card issuer or bank, and the facts of your situation.
AI-generated content may contain errors
The letters, emails, and other content we generate are based on what you tell us and may contain mistakes, omissions, or placeholder text (shown in [brackets]) that you must fill in yourself. Always carefully review, fact-check, and edit every document before sending it — you are responsible for what you ultimately send.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to use FixACharge only for your own genuine disputes (not on behalf of someone else without their authorization, and not for fraudulent claims), and not to upload sensitive information like Social Security numbers, passwords, or full card numbers.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use FixACharge.
Subscription, billing, and auto-renewal
FixACharge is a paid subscription. Your first month is billed at $4.99 for unlimited dispute packages, no additional fees. After that, your subscription automatically renews at $9.99 per month, still unlimited, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on this recurring basis until you cancel.
Fair use
"Unlimited" means unlimited for genuine, personal, non-commercial use — disputing your own charges. We may apply reasonable usage limits to accounts that show clearly excessive, automated, or non-personal volume, and may contact you or pause access in that case rather than billing you further.
How to cancel
You may cancel anytime from your Account page (Manage Billing), with no phone call required. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period; you’ll keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
Refunds
Charges are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where required by law or at our discretion. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse FixACharge — including submitting fraudulent disputes, impersonating someone else, using automated tools/scripts to generate excessive volumes of packages, attempting to circumvent payment, or attempting to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service. We reserve the right to limit or suspend accounts that show abusive or automated usage patterns inconsistent with genuine personal use.
Your content
You retain ownership of the information and documents you submit. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to generate your dispute package and operate the service. We own the FixACharge name, branding, and the software itself.
Disclaimer of warranties
FixACharge is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FixACharge and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any outcome (or lack of outcome) of a dispute you send. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or misuse the service. You may stop using FixACharge and cancel your subscription at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which FixACharge operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Add your specific state once confirmed, and have an attorney sign off before relying on this commercially.)
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
